Dr. Lon Jones
Dr. Jones is a board certified Osteopathic family physician. He is interested in what works and has had plenty of experience with thing that don’t.
Dr. Jones, with Jerry Bozeman, his colleague and wife, developed a nasal spray made up of xylitol and saline that assists and stimulates the immune system’s efforts to clean the nose. When used regularly, a clean nose prevents many of the medical problems that originate there. This includes allergies and asthma, as well as ear and sinus infections.
More information on this product, as well as the other uses of xylitol, is available at www.nasal-xylitol.com, or in our books: No More Allergies, Asthma, or Sinus Infections, published by Freedom Press in 2010, and The Boids and the Bees: Guiding Adaptation to Improve our Health, Healthcare, Schools, and Society, published by Emergent Publications (where a 20% discount is still available). Dr. Jones peer reviewed article describing his early experience is available here.
Before studying medicine, Dr. Jones spent 6 years in college and graduate school studying history, with a special interest on the history of science and ideas. He is confident that his background has influenced the way that he approaches health care, and the practice of medicine.
Jerry Bozeman
Jerry Bozeman is a registered play therapy supervisor and licensed professional counselor. Her background in counseling has focused on children and their problems, with particular focus on physical and mental illness connected with early-life trauma. Jerry uses reality therapy: the idea that ‘if what you are doing is not working, do something different.’
Jerry originally taught elementary school, moved to special education to get more independence, became a school counselor, a registered play therapist, then a play therapist supervisor. Play is how children talk, and registered play therapists are trained (graduate level courses and 550 hours of supervised training) to give language to that play. Jerry is convinced, as is Dr. Jones, that many societal and global problems have early beginnings in childhood trauma, or from faulty practices of well-meaning parents and caregivers. Jerry and Lon have dual interests in what works, and getting at the root of problems.
More information on the Jones’ curricula vitae are available on request.
